Principal Investigator
Dr. Angus Lamar
Originally from Verden, Oklahoma, Dr. Lamar received his B.S. at the Univ. of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, then went on to the Univ. of Oklahoma to earn his Ph.D. in the research lab of Prof. Ken Nicholas. He then moved to Emory University to conduct postdoctoral research in the lab of Prof. Lanny Liebeskind. Dr. Lamar then accepted an Assistant Professor position at Hanover College, and in 2015, returned to the state of Oklahoma as an Assistant Professor at The Univ. of Tulsa.

Caroline Dunn
Caroline is a Biochemistry and German major from St. Louis, MO, and plans to graduate in 2024. After graduation she plans to attend graduate school in Tennessee and she is currently working on our sulfonamide insertion project.
Jenna Caudle
Jenna is a Chemistry and French major from Fayetteville, AR, that plans to graduate in 2025 and become a forensic scientist. Jenna is currently working on our sulfonamide insertion project.
Lauren Hornbrook
Lauren is a Biochemistry major and will graduate in 2024, then head off to graduate school at USC. She is a lead researcher on the VLPC dye project. She knows how to weld, is a scratch golfer, and was able to get me to appreciate Taylor Swift. Like Taylor, she'll never go out of style.
Carina Derewonko
Carina joined our group as a Freshman and has contributed to several projects in a variety of ways. She knows how to synthesize compounds and also analyze them for biological activity using biochemical techniques. She plans to graduate in 2025.
Marlow Evans
Marlow is a Biochemistry major. She'll give me some info soon and I'll write it in.
Maleah Crawford
Maleah has worked on our VLPC dye project since 2023. She will graduate in 2024 and head to OU medical school.
